OO Security is seeking dedicated, professional, and enthusiastic SIA Licensed Door Supervisors to support football matchdays and stadium events across the UK.
This role is focused on maintaining the safety, security, and comfort of spectators while helping to deliver a smooth and well-managed matchday experience. You will support crowd monitoring, entry and exit procedures, stadium rule enforcement, incident response, and high-quality customer service.
The ideal candidate will be confident, observant, calm under pressure, and able to represent OO Security with professionalism in busy, high-profile sporting environments.
Responsibilities
Monitor spectator areas and identify potential safety, security, or crowd management risks.
Support safe entry and exit procedures, including ticket checks, access control, and bag searches where required.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or breaches of stadium regulations.
Assist with crowd movement, queue management, and maintaining clear access routes.
Support evacuation procedures where necessary, ensuring spectator safety remains the priority.
Deliver a professional, helpful, and customer-focused experience for fans, guests, and venue staff.
Requirements
Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
Minimum age of 18.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure.
Observant, vigilant, and confident when dealing with members of the public.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions within a structured matchday operation.
Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with the football season.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in stadium security, football matchdays, events, crowd safety, stewarding, or venue operations.
Experience working in high-footfall environments with large crowds.
First Aid, fire safety, or crowd management training would be advantageous.
Working Environment
This role is deployed across football matches, stadiums, sporting events, and high-footfall spectator environments throughout the UK.
Assignments may vary by venue, fixture, client requirement, and operational need. Full details of location, rate, shift times, and deployment requirements will be confirmed prior to assignment allocation.
Training Provided
The company will provide matchday safety training where required, including support towards relevant spectator safety qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety.
