Description
OO Security is recruiting professional, customer-focused Security Stewards to support safety, crowd management, and guest experience across events, hospitality venues, concerts, sporting fixtures, conferences, and premium environments.
This role combines visible security presence with high-quality guest service. Security Stewards are often the first point of contact for guests, helping to maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment while supporting access control, crowd movement, incident prevention, and venue operations.
The ideal candidate will be calm, confident, approachable, and able to balance authority with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Support access control by checking tickets, passes, wristbands, credentials, and guest entry requirements.
Assist with guest screening, bag checks, searches, and entry procedures where required.
Monitor crowd movement, queues, entry points, exits, concourses, seating areas, and restricted zones.
Help identify and report safety risks, medical concerns, suspicious behaviour, or potential incidents.
De-escalate minor issues professionally and escalate concerns to supervisors or security teams when needed.
Provide clear guest assistance, including directions, venue information, accessibility support, and general customer service.
Requirements
Confident, professional, and approachable manner.
Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear directions.
Ability to remain calm and composed in busy, fast-moving environments.
Good awareness of safety, crowd behaviour, and customer experience.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a wider venue team.
Physically able to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert throughout long shifts.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules where required.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in stewarding, event support, hospitality, customer service, crowd management, or venue operations.
Experience working at concerts, sporting events, festivals, stadiums, arenas, conferences, or premium hospitality venues.
SIA Door Supervisor Licence preferred where the role involves licensable security duties.
First Aid, fire safety, or crowd management training would be advantageous.
Working Environment
Security Stewards may be deployed across live events, hospitality venues, stadiums, arenas, conferences, private functions, and high-footfall guest environments.
This role is suited to individuals who enjoy working with people, maintaining order, supporting guest safety, and contributing to the smooth running of professional event operations.
